Description:

This graduate seminar offers an introduction to historical sociological theory. The general objective is to learn about and reflect on the role of theory in sociological research. In addition to studying the "classical canon," we will examine other theorists who were important writers and analysts of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This course is required for graduate students in Sociology and is geared toward their needs. |
