Introduction

The purpose of this assignment is to help the class better understand the materials assigned for the group presentation. Your group primarily is reponsible for presenting the assigned materials listed below. You are welcome to add clarifying comments about or provide examples of theoretical topics discussed during the group presentation.

For the most part, your response should be prepared prior to your scheduled presentation. You will be allocated approximately 5 minutes before your response to discuss possible clarifying comments regarding the group presentation. You will be allowed only 15 minutes to deliver your response.

Please feel free to rely upon easily available resources to develop your group response. Two web-based resources that you might find helpful are: Your presentation should be concise and well-organized. You are encouraged to provide your classmates with a brief written summary of your response. Dr. Sapp will grade your response based upon its content, clarity of presentation, and organization. Each response is worth 25 points.

Typically, all members of the group will receive the same grade for a response. After completing the response, each member of the group will assign a letter grade to other members of their group to be submitted to Dr. Sapp. This letter grade should reflect the total contribution of each of the other members of the group to the response. Dr. Sapp might modify an individual's grade for the response based upon the evaluations provided by fellow group members.

  2. How do these materials help us understand the topic covered in the group presentation?
  3. What clarifying comments, if any, are needed to better understand the group presentation?
