Forming a Watershed Group
If you are concerned about changes in water quality in your area, chances are others are too. Starting a watershed group is one way that you can be involved in improving water quality.
Resident-led watersheds
Resident-led watershed management groups offer the opportunity for people to voluntarily get involved in their watershed and make a difference. Resident-led watershed groups consist of people bound together by the physical flow of their common streams, rivers, or lakes. They are people who live and work in the same watershed and are willing to work together to develop local goals and implement practices that improve or protect their water.
