|Dear Friend of the Farm Poll,
We are pleased to present you with the 2012 Iowa Farm and Rural Life Poll Summary Report. This year’s survey was completed during February and March 2012 by 1,296 Iowa farmers. The 2012 Farm Poll survey focused on a range of issues that are important not only to agriculture but to all Iowans. Topics include farmer perspectives on increases in land values, assessments of rural quality of life and other rural issues, use of different sources of information for agricultural decision making, and preferences for delivery of information and educational programming. Other topics include farmer use of communications technology and concerns about herbicide resistant weeds and Bt-resistant corn rootworm.
Please take note that the menu bar also provides a link to our Farm Poll website, where you can find summary reports, topical reports, presentations and other information from this and past years.
