What Kinds of Issues Does the Poll Include?
A wide variety of issues are included in the polls; opinions about current agricultural policies, conservation practices, assessments about the future of farming, research and Extension education needs and priorities, the incidence of off-farm employment, etc. In addition, the poll is able to examine questions such as which farms are expanding, and which ones are leaving the industry, how are farm families coping with today’s problems, are farm youth leaving farming for non-farm employment, etc.
