Writing Assignments 2 and 3

For your second and third writing assignment in this course, you are allowed to pick from the options listed below. You will need to complete an assignment from Group One and an assignment from Group Two. Each assignment is worth 25 points. Writing assignments should be typed, double-spaced, using 12 point font, and have one-inch margins. They should be approximately 4-6 pages in length. The grading rubric used for assessing your assignments can be found here.

Several of these projects ask you to collect information from individuals. When you are gathering information from individuals you must do the following:

Respect your participants’ anonymity and do not breach confidentiality. Do not include any information that could reveal a participant’s identity to your instructor or any other member of the class.

Be respectful of your participants. Explain to them that you are collecting data to assist you in a class project. Answer all of their questions. Explain the purpose of the project after you have collected your data. Take the opportunity to share your understanding of the topic with them.
