Change in Assignments

In class on January 23, I discussed with the class as change in the assignment requirements. This change is as follows:

Assignment 1 – Gender Theory Paper: Completed, due January 16. This assignment is REQUIRED

Assignment 2 – Gender Research Paper; due on one of first three topics by February 27. This assignment is REQUIRED

Assignment 3 – Gender Research paper; due on one of second set of topics by April 24. This assignment is OPTIONAL.

Assignment 4 – Gender Theory Paper, Part II. Due April 30. This assignment is REQUIRED.

If you are happy with the grade you receive on Assignment 2, I will give you the same grade on Assignment 3. If you are unhappy with your grade on Assignment 2, you can attempt to improve your grade by writing Assignment 3. Should you do worse on Assignment 3, I will keep the better of the two grades. (Assignment 2 and Assignment 3 will receive the same grade, the better of the two received on Assignment 2 or Assignment 3). If you do better on Assignment 3, you keep that grade for Assignment 3 but your grade for Assignment 2 stays the same.
