Molly’s research interests are on the overlap that exists between identity formation and interaction with others. Her thesis, “Tattoos and the Interaction Process: Managing a Tattooed Identity”, investigates how decisions regarding a tattoo (such as image and location) could impact interaction elements (such as how an individual talked about their tattoo or when and where it was visible). Molly is in her first year of the PhD program and her concentration areas are criminology and social psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys playing outdoor sports with her husband, baking, and making jewelry.
