The combination of my previous schooling and my work with low income families
sparked an interest in better understanding how larger social structures
influence communities, families and individuals. My areas of concentration are
the sociology of families and social inequality. My dissertation will continue
to explore both family and inequality factors in society by examining how
different types of family structures influence how women successfully balance
their home and work roles. In my spare time I like to read, watch movies and
hangout with friends.
