M.S. Minor Requires:
- Soc 505 (3 cr) Historical Sociological Theory
- Soc 511 (3 cr) Intermediate Research Methods
And two other courses in Sociology for a total of 12 credits.
M.S. Co-Major Requires:
- Soc 505 (3 cr) Historical Sociological Theory
- Soc 511 (3 cr) Intermediate Research Methods
- Stat 401 (4 cr) Statistical Methods for Research Workers
And four other courses in Sociology for a total of 22 credits. A thesis should reflect the student's sociological competence.
The Department does not offer double majors in sociology.
